Donnie grew up in Tallulah, LA. He graduated with a BS in Construction Management from the University of Louisiana – Monroe in 1983 when it was still known as Northeast LA University. He went to work for Stolte after graduating. He purchased Panel Truss in May 1988.
He has been married to Kathy Powers since 1993. He is the proud father of two children. Daughter, Hillary, was married in 2017 and is at Texas Tech Medical School. Son, Lawson, graduated from LSU and is now a Structural Engineering Graduate Student at LSU.
Donnie’s primary interest is manufacturing outstanding truss products, but outside of that he enjoys racing dirt track cars, hunting, fishing, “geauxing” for the LSU Tigers and charitable endeavors.
